Abstract

Radioactive phosphorus (32P) is now generally accepted as an effective therapeutic
agent for chronic leukemia and polycythemia vera. It is the purpose of this report to
show the effect of radioactive phosphorus !32P) in the treatment of chronic myelogenous
leukemia. The general symptoms and signs were greatly improved with the reduction of
leukocyte, the return to normal value of other laboratory data and the reduction of the
size of hepatosplenomegaly.
